Experience: Studied Economics in PUCMM in the Dominican Republic (DR), obtained a MSc in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Birmingham in the UK. Currently working as Economic Analyst for the Ministry of Finance in the DR, as an Independent Consultant and University Teacher at the undergraduate level.

Professional Interest: Oriented towards the implementation of programs for development, taking into consideration the efficient management of environmental resources.

Topics of Interest: Environmental valuation techniques; Economic valuation of climate change impacts; Links and impacts between development and environment; Strategies to increase resilience to climate change; etc.

Previous Research: Reanalyzing the carbon leakage hypothesis by accounting for spatial effects present in emissions data; Assessing the ecotourism feasibility of the province of Bonao in the DR; Developing a system of green national accounting for the DR (in progress); and Calculating the Value of Statistical Life (VOSL) in the DR (in progress).
